About Laurel
Laurel Arnold is a New York based freelance Scenic Designer, Scenic Artist, and Props Artisan with a BFA in Theatrical Production and Scenic Design from the University of Florida. Her skills include a variety of scenic painting methods and texture treatments, model making, crafting and construction of props, as well as rendering and drafting.
Her Scenic Design for Blood at the Root was featured in a Main-stage production in the Constans Theatre, and Laurel has served as a Props Manager, Scenic Artist and Assistant Scenic Designer on a number of productions at the University of Florida. Laurel has worked with Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre as a Scenic Change Artist, and Barrington Stage Company as a Scenic Artist.
Laurel is the Lead Scenic Artist at Syracuse Stage, while continuing to freelance as a Scenic Designer and Design Assistant.
